We thank the following individuals and organizations for their help in outfitting our club:
Notre Dame Parent Support Group:
With the assistance of the Notre Dame PSG, we have been able to stock up on paddles, snowshoes, a pyramid tent, and a food dehydrator. All these items will give the kids years of enjoyment (especially that last one)!
Knights of Columbus
We thank the following councils of the Knights of Columbus for their kind donations. As a result of their generosity, we have a new boat: a Dagger Alchemy S! Thanks you, Councils of Corpus Christi, St. Mary's, and Holy Cross parishes!

We thank Mountain Equipment Co-op for their donation of camping gear, clothing and, most recently, a brand new boat! The camping gear was put to excellent use on our rainy but fun three day trip up Indian Arm and the boat (we have chosen a Venture Capella 166) will be part of our instructional fleet.
North Vancouver manufacturer Brooks Paddle Gear has donated sprayskirts to help outfit our fleet. We are happy to receive the support of a long-standing, local paddle sports company.
We thank Futurebook for their kind cash donation that will allow us to rent storage space at Jericho Sailing Centre. Remaining funds will be used to purchase paddles and safety equipment.
Dr. Bernard MacLeod
We thank Dr. MacLeod for his donation of a library of kayaking books, manuals, and many years of back issues of Sea Kayaker Magazine. These items will be catalogued and shelved in a special collection at the William P.J. McCarthy Library.
Mr. John Androsky
We thank Mr. Androsky for his donation of a Valley Aquila touring kayak. Mr. Androsky refurbished this boat himself and outfitted it with new hatch covers, so it will give many more years of use. Valley kayaks are known and respected the world over by expedition paddlers. We welcome the addition of this boat to our club fleet!
Starting a paddling club is a big undertaking and we welcome your support! Our goal is to build up a small fleet of 4-6 boats, with the necessary outfitting and safety equipment. We also want to build up our inventory of camping supplies.
How can you help? There two ways:
1) Donate gear: we will happily accept donations of paddling/camping gear, either new or used. We are able to issue tax receipts for such gifts.
2) Help us with our fundraising: financial donations, however large or small, are always welcome. Again, we are happy to issue tax receipts for any donations.
